XD well I got lucky, but usually there are ways to reset them. This is my second laptop purchase ever, I generally don't mess with them so I have no idea how easy it is to reset their bios without access. With the enterprise hardware usually they lack a lot of the convenience features: like low power consumption, quiet, cool, good screens etc. Personally I got it because it's a small workstation that sits under my desk connected to a dock and runs 24/7.

I wouldn't like it to replace my 10 y/o Asus for practical use. Its like 8lbs, hot, loud, and when in use only has about 2 hours of batter life.

That said, used consumer laptops and even Macs go super cheap on ebay. Macs lose their value so fast.
