Hahaha 🤣 no offence. Not sure what aspect of my writing gives you the “feel” but I have been married to an English language crusader for nearly 37 years. That’s meant I’ve had to pay attention to my writing skills. I struggle at the best of times to get my thoughts out but try to follow some simple rules. That often means multiple edits for flow etc.
I have not read those CS Lewis books so can’t comment. I have noticed though that you have a fairly developed and committed world view built around a version of Christianity. It would make sense then that you would hold a position in defence of humanity being the “Crown Jewels of creation.” One of the reasons why I asked after an opinion on the ET narrative was to see if there was an avenue for discussion about intelligence (therefore sentience) beyond the current general Christian view. I have a Christian extended family and a background in theology and pastoral care. I find that the vast majority of people who hold a Christian centric worldview have not given any real time and thought to the ET subject. I notice that in my immediate circle the first response is to defer to Christian theologians and scholars rather than do any real research.
It’s a tricky situation for discussion purposes, not only in person but also in threads like this because it requires a lot of work. I’m always interested though in how people have arrived at their current understanding of the nature of life and reality. 😄
