Also, as I understand it since I have my “Ledger keys” I can import the wallets accessed via my Ledger to another wallet (software or hardware based). Correct?

Thus, while Ledger can see what I’m doing and therefore it is not optimal from a privacy standpoint, the physical Ledger device is essentially the same thing functionally as the open source solutions? (It is a hardware 2FA device) yes?
