I know we get like… a technologist crying like the British are coming like Paul Revere or something to that effect every 3 months, warning us about AI, and I’m not diminishing their warnings, and the transparency is exactly what we need, but I really think it’s important to step back and see how consistently passing the same message around without communication of reframing the situation into something to take action against (if we’re really that scared), instead of fearmongering.

You know why? Because that’s how you manifest shit.

Continuously impressing upon your thoughts about doomsday situations while simultaneously having free will to make individual decisions creates the reality scenario we are fearing. If you believe it’s happening, and your neighbor, and your mom who existed in the 80’s generates AI 80’s photos also shares that same fear - it’s probably going to happen.
