I completely get this argument and I'm sympathetic to it. However, how would you respond to the scenario of a Songwriter who writes a song and puts it out online freely and someone else takes that exact song and starts monetizing it for themselves. They have done none of the work and are getting all the monetary benefit. They have effectively stolen your time and talent and are monetising it for themselves. How would that scenario play out? Just curious.
