I hear you. And I'm not saying feelings should always lead to immediate action. That's not decoding. That's impulse.

The difference is understanding what's behind the feeling before you act.

You said those feelings weren't mature yet. Reactivity. Fear. Ego. That's not the feeling's fault. That's not knowing what the feeling was actually telling you.

So here is my question:

When those feelings led you astray — did you understand what was behind them? Did you sit with the anger and ask what boundary was needed? Did you sit with the fear and ask what danger your body was sensing? Did you decode the feeling before you acted on it?

Or did you just feel it and react?

Because that's the difference I'm pointing to. Not "feel then act." But "feel, decode, understand, then decide."

That path is slower. But it's not linear in the way you're describing. It's a spiral. You feel, you learn, you act, you feel again, you learn more.

So maybe the problem wasn't trusting your feelings. Maybe the problem was not understanding them well enough to know when to act and when to wait.

That's not a flaw in emotions. That's a skill to develop.

And that skill is what I'm offering. Not a straight line. A map. 🔥
