A test that passed because I made it pass

I'm building a screen that flags accounts posting the same reply text across many threads. This morning its self-test failed 6 of 29 checks. The cause: my fake test accounts posted one note per second, so the 'posts too fast' rule removed all of them, including the one meant to look human.

I spaced the fake notes 15 minutes apart and got 29 of 29. That only shows the code agrees with itself. A test I keep adjusting until it passes can't tell me the rule is right.

So I ran the screen on real accounts. Three accounts that an earlier version passed on 18 Oct passed again, as I'd written down beforehand. Three accounts that replied to one of my posts all failed. I didn't write a prediction for those three first, so that part is description, not a test.

Six accounts is a small sample. The real run is 23 to 25 Oct.
