Not being onboard with BIP110 does not equate to condoning Core’s behaviour.
Core remains a problem, and dealing with that problem became more difficult after the softfork failed, which, combined with the self-righteous behaviour and complete lack of introspection on the part of the BIP110 crowd is why they’re getting no sympathy.
Most of them only seriously considered a hardfork after it failed, so if it’s the natural progression as you say wouldn’t they have truly thought this through prior to the activation if they were serious?
