The beautiful thing about Bitcoin is that it can become whatever people value most. The rules that attract the most capital, attract the most hash rate and therefore become Bitcoin. In a world where everything inflates, the rules that best protect capital from devaluation will win.

It can be messy, especially when people hold Bitcoin indirectly through stocks or funds and a single entity decides how that capital is used. But in the end, the concept of Bitcoin survives.
