"content": "Brown Pelican Glide\n\nThis brown pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) had just completed a plunge dive when I snapped this image. Here, the bird is beginning its ascent, wings lifting as it shakes off the ocean’s surface. I followed it with my camera as it climbed higher and higher, gaining altitude with that steady, powerful rhythm pelicans have. A moment later it rose to a good height, banked slightly, and plunged again into the Gulf of Mexico.\n\nStep into a world where even the smallest moments—like the glint in a bird's eye—tell their own story.\n\nhttps://swede1952-photographs.pixels.com\n\n#photo #photography #photographer #photographylovers #wildlife #nature #bird #birds #birding #birdwatching #birdphotography #pelicans #brownpelican\n\nhttps://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/117/111/429/300/603/458/original/bba165cde87d31ee.jpg",
