The chat was disgusting

I found everything about it disturbing, but it sounds like Jane Doe and the accused (or at least some of the accused) were on the same page about what they wanted, and there were no arrests at the time because she was clear in the weeks after that it was consensual. From what I've read, Jane Doe wanted to come back for the next party and the frat president thought it wouldn't be good for her or for the guys.

I do hope that if there was rape that any rapists are convicted, but I also hope that they get a genuinely fair trial and don't think that they should be doxxed at this point.

My first reaction (after the disgust at the texts) was that most of the conversations around it treat Jane Doe as if she had no agency, as if just being female means that she can't make basic decisions for herself. It was some of the most misogynistic stuff I've heard.
