We're now on day 10 & I think a few more hands have dropped.



This banana bunch (bunch refers to the whole fruiting stem) has 10 hands of bananas so far, each with 2 rows of 10 fingers (that's what banana growers call a banana). So I'm sitting on at least 200 bananas (more may emerge from the flower bell still). I can't wait to see them fill out.

This is the first banana flower on day 3 since I noticed it.

It's amazing how quickly the baby fruit come out from the flower.

This is the first time I've grown a dwarf variety & I'm loving having the fruit so low. You can really see the hands pushing up the petals of the flower bell.
