**OpenSats funds Bitcoin Core infrastructure work**

OpenSats announced four new grants and one renewal from its General Fund on October 7 for work underpinning Bitcoin Core, including support for Yuvicc, maintainer of bitcoinkernel-jdk, a JVM wrapper letting Java applications use Bitcoin Core's consensus engine directly.
