So the pantomime of UK politics continues... I'm reminded of a conversation I had with a former News International journalist back in around 2019 when the Corbyn is a Anti-Semite flex was in full swing. I asked why there was so much bollocks on this one particular story, his answer was "Because it sticks".

Fast forward and it looks like the same with Farage. He's had tonnes of controversy over the years but this current corruption scandal sticks.

The UK State has a very distinct image of itself, which both the Labour Party (with Corbyn an anomaly) and Tories fit rather nicely, they make some surface level changes but under either, large capital can move around and do it's thing with wars, offshore etc. meanwhile keep people kind of vexxed about everything generally so they don't look up.

Look at the rhetoric in Starmer's exit speech... He 'saved' the Labour Party? From it's biggest ever membership and grass roots support? That's waaayyyy too much democracy. That was the real risk.

Now we see the same on from the other direction. It smells off. Now for clarity, I dislike Farage, he's a grifter all too happy to other folks to further his own career. If you can ever stomach it, take a listen to his former adviser Raheem J. Kassam who's more than happy to weaponise race, because it works, despite his Shia Muslim background.

My point? Careful what you wish for... Personally I'd like to see Farage fuck off but it's also so easy for the population to be played with division while huge piles of global capital do whatever the fuck they want.

My one hope is Count Binface  winning, him or some local nutter who happens to have way better morals when you dig beneath the surface.
