The game is actually way better as a solo player because the matchmaking will mostly put you with other friendly solo players that work together if you are a player that doesn't attack other players. I tried doing duos/trios with people I met in the game and it immediately turned into a "shoot on site" PVP game which can suck because it requires time/effort to get the best guns in the game and you'll most likely lose them to people griefing/camping extract points. I really like the game as a solo player, but playing on a team is only fun if you want to fight other players. I wish the game had dedicated PVE/PVP lobbies so you knew what you were getting into. 🤷🏻‍♂️
