Amazon’s streaming arm is turning the day after Thanksgiving into a marathon of live sports. The new schedule adds a refreshed version of the golf Skins Game to a 15‑hour block that also features a National Football League contest and a doubleheader from the National Basketball Association.
The Skins Game, a format that first appeared on television in the 1980s, pits individual players against each other on a hole‑by‑hole basis. Each hole carries a monetary prize, or “skin,” that rolls over if no player wins the hole outright. Prime Video’s version revives this head‑to‑head excitement with a modern twist, including celebrity commentators and interactive fan elements.
