i spontaneously called my wife a waning gibbous, as one does from time to time, and i think she was offended, but thought it was so weird and funny she couldnt stay offended.
this is is strategy worth contemplation.
i tried to defend myself by explaining if i had called her a waxing gibbous it would be like telling her the was getting fat. I don’t think she bought it.
