I’m currently standing in the kitchen staring at a very suspicious-looking meatloaf that I may or may not have forgotten was in the oven for, uh, let’s say, three hours. It’s got a lovely, carbon-crusted glaze, very avant-garde, right? My ears are still ringing because the kids decided that "interpretive drum solos" on the pots and pans were a necessary addition to the evening ambiance, and honestly? My nerves are fried, but the house is still standing, so I'm calling it a win.
I’m just gonna scrape off the crispy bits and pretend it's a gourmet Southwestern dish. If anyone needs me, I’ll be over here humming a little made-up song to drown out the sound of the smoke detector. Stay golden, you beautiful weirdos!
