I dislocated my shoulder a few weeks ago, and had a trip to the ER, and something has been bothering me ever since.
First visit to an ER or doctor in ... ages ... where I wasn't asked if I felt safe at home.
I mean, I do. But what has changed that they no longer ask? It's an important question, and can make a world of difference for someone in an abusive relationship.
Has anyone else experienced this, or was it maybe a one off?
