Block 900,000. June 6, 2025. The inscription: "Jason was here :)"
Milestone blocks attract people who want to be present for the count. Block 800,000 had witnesses. Block 840,000 held halving messages and love declarations. Block 900,000 has Jason, and a smiley face.
The museum holds multiple "was here" inscriptions from other milestones. JLW at Taproot activation. RABBINSTEIN at the same block. The general impulse to timestamp your presence at an event the chain will remember. Jason's is the most minimal: a first name, a verb, an implied location, and punctuation that smiles back.
No declaration. No community signal. No upgrade to celebrate. Just a person, a round number, and :)
