You mean with out automatic outbox? Not sure of any client that does that atm. Is nak not sufficient for your testing?
You might be able to do what I do, use dns + uBlock to block all websocket/3rd party connections, but most modern web clients will simply crash doing so. v0.42.0 of nostrudel works well enough (what im on right now)
