The Panama deal that Trump supposedly reached is pretty much meaningless. Chinastill has preferential treatment agreement with Panama. Nothing America agreed with Panama affects Chinese cargo. It’s another fluff Trump deal that looks good on press release.
The Greenland deal is just a continuation of the deal Denmark signed with America in the 50s. The NEW THINGS with this new deal is that China and Russia can never establish a base there and American base has a lifetime contract in Greenland.
That two new conditions was never a serious issue before and Denmark would have never allowed China or Russia set up base in Greenland. Denmark is a NATO member.
Regarding Mark Carney, believe it or not Carney is currently doing a good job. He has outmaneuvered Trump in the current pointless trade war.
Canada is currently building an oil pipeline to West of Canada, opening their oil to the Asian market. This will increase cost for Americans because currently Canada’s oil is mostly consumed in America.
The rest of the stuff he spewed is just word salad.
