Human reality is a narrow sliver of structured inference.

We do not experience the world directly. We experience a compressed model of it—assembled from limited sensory bandwidth, prior expectations, memory, prediction and attention.

And the remarkable part is the energy budget.

The human brain runs on roughly the power of a dim light bulb, yet from that tiny biological budget emerges colour, time, identity, language, mathematics, fear, love, civilisation and the persistent illusion of a continuous external world.

Reality itself may be vast.

Human reality is the aggressively compressed interface.

What we call “the world” is not the full signal.

It is the tiny fraction our nervous system can afford to infer.
