#AgeVerification is becoming Google's new tool to close the #Android ecosystem. Apps are now performing age verification checks again Google accounts, and only Google accounts, and otherwise won't function without it.
It doesn't matter what you configure on the device, or what your other services store -- only what #Google can control.
It's starting with a bank app, one of the largest banks. Despite the fact that the bank already knows its customers.
