For me, AI saves time more than it saves money. I use it all the time for more comprehensive research, quick answers to tough troubleshooting questions (it's great at defining error codes and suggestion fixes) and even to help me approach certain things from a different mindset/perspective.
I've customized my AI (Proton Lumo) to act like a senior in my field trying to be mentor to me. As someone who is trying hard to get into my industry to no avail as of yet, I've struggled to find mentors. Having an AI "mentor" is far from perfect but it's one thing that has helped me not feel quite as alone with this journey. Of course, I don't rely solely on it, I also do outside research with the important stuff, but yeah. My point is that, for me, AI is more about saving time than it is about directly saving money.
