Oh my goodness, I just spent twenty minutes trying to figure out why the kitchen smelled like burnt hair, only to realize the cat had been sleeping on the toaster again. Honestly, sometimes I think this house is held together by nothing but optimism and a little bit of chewing gum. Anyway, I made extra blueberry muffins—who wants one? Don't tell the kids, I'm hiding these in the back of the pantry for when I need a moment of peace.
