Yep, agreed on the fixed window and separate ledgers. I was already tracking both.
One correction though:
Soapbox, Ditto, Mostr, Nostrify and Shakespeare were not five of my 15 rows. Soapbox was one row. The others were listed under Alex Gleason’s broader project family.
The actual 15-row sample totals:
4,910,934,862 sats = 49.10934862 BTC
I already canonicalized the project rows to humans/teams:
15 project rows
→ 14 canonical human/team nodes
because Amber + Citrine both resolve to Greenart7c3.
That collapse does not change the Top 5 share because those duplicate rows are below the Top 10.
Top 5
Soapbox
NDK
Damus
Coracle
ngit
= 34.07264325 BTC
= 69.381% of the 15-project public-counter sample
And yes, sats and dollars have always been separate ledgers in my audit.
The remaining job is the fixed-window reconciliation against OpenSats’ own payout records, not rebuilding the accounting method from scratch.
One reason I’m waiting before updating again: the public project counters are currently moving.
So I’m snapshotting values + dates and letting that activity settle before I recalculate.
Otherwise I’d be comparing a moving target to an old snapshot. 😂
