I live in Vietnam, there are “Bun Cha Obama”’s in every city, riding the wave of Bourdain eating Bun Cha with Obama in Hanoi 15 years ago.
I completely agree with them.
The fakes are easy to spot and the real ones still kill it in business despite the impersonators; they allow a TRUE free market in this sense and they don’t arbitrarily hold back innovation for rent seekers.
IP is gonna be the death of the West, most people just haven’t realised it yet because they think it’s a strength and don’t realise how weak it is when it’s not universally enforced.
