🧡 New Episode — Share Your Bitcoin Journey EP7
London-based designer, maker & engineer thomasforsyth (nprofile…hesc) joins us for a wide-ranging conversation on building a creative practice across wood, metal, electronics, props, and kinetic sculpture — all while staying true to craft.
Tom shares:
Discovering Bitcoin three separate times before it finally clicked
Why physical making and Bitcoin share a deep philosophical backbone (“There’s something very Bitcoin about that”)
The first time Lightning settled a bill in a London restaurant
How Nostr reawakened his urge to make work for himself again
Advice for younger makers that has almost nothing to do with making
A thoughtful episode on low time preference, sound craft, and building outside the platform economy.
