As a relatively tall guy the height discourse seems like a recent social phenomenon. I don’t remember getting extra brownie points when I was young and single for being tall. Although maybe I was and just totally oblivious to it. Granted women like men who are taller than them, but that’s just basic sexual dimorphism. The arbitrary quality of 180 or 6 feet feels recent and driven entirely by dating apps.
