64 hexagrams looks like binary encoding to me, quite cool!
In my opinion the past is certain and yet the future is open.
It looks like that time cycles is an aggregate behaviour of any kind of events such as "wave" is an aggregate behaviour of "particles".
I believe the time is the very first layer and everything else is built on top.
Like we have ones and zeros structured which forms logic. Predictable logic becomes matter. Unpredictable logic becomes consciousness.
Remember that we can only measure at 10 to the -23 of a second, only half way to Plank time of 10 to the -43 of a second. So there's like whole space physics can't measure at all.
Bitcoin offers us perspective of what the process could look like. We are about to have 1 million blocks (10 to the 6) which took 17 years. So to reach 1 second within Bitcoin universe we would need to sit here I don't know how many years. Perhaps centuries. Imagine how much decisions and actions embed into the ledger. It's crazy to think cause it's way bigger than anyone of us can possibly comprehend easily.
I'd start with time and ask questions how consciousness is born and lives within time? What exactly does it perceive? Bitcoin hints that timespace has really peculiar structure. It's not just 3D space of matter, it's also space of power dynamics. Some doors open while others shut. Lot of questions!
