God has emotions born of a perfectly ordered love. This necissitates God's wrath, justice, and even Hell.
But it's important to remember that God is never surprised or disappointed or adapting. God's ways are high and in His wisdom He is working everything for the ultimate good.
Always remember that God is doing everything in His good pleasure, even as He feels the emotions necessitated by divine love.
