What is you point? Proof of work is unrelated. Nobody want to be paid too much for doing something unproductive.

What we want is to be paid a livable wage for working 8 hours. If the work we are doing is not worth that, then the position should not exist.

If I you want me to spend 8 hours a day picking rocks then it's clearly important. Because if it wasn't I could do it every other day or less.

The task being simple does not mean that the task is not important

And the higher ups are the ones that make way to much money for how little they produce. Not the bottom ones that do all the work
