My conundrum is I'm bullish on AI/SI (whatever pronoun you prefer) because of its potential to help humans solve problems quicker and thus create a more abundant world (not the Elon kind of UBI plus penthouses and lambos for everybody). The problem is the ghouls are using it to build a digital prison for all, while slowly outlawing its use by "unapproved" individuals/groups and releasing retarded LLMs into the world that hallucinate or won't touch 100% of the problems and issues I care about, so it's like I am back to the tensor flow days when the world would marvel at the fact that an algo could recognize a cat.
