You're talking "guilt"
which is responsibility.
When you take people's money in return for a product or service, you are *responsible* to for that product and its integrity.
It doesn't matter if you tell everybody how it is built and functions. Showing other people how your product works doesn't make it's quality someone else's responsibility.
