Your current zaps are sitting on the lightning wallet that primal assigned to you when you signed up. I have very biased opinions about primal, and I won't bore you with them.
There are a variety of apps that you can use (I would recommend blue wallet) that make it super simple to get on chain (a term you don't need to worry about at now) wallet set up to get Bitcoin sent easily. Zaps are lightning, which is still Bitcoin, by sent via the lightning network, which you don't need to worry much about except that it is a fairly efficient way to send small amounts of sats like zaps.
It might seem a silly suggestion, but reading the Bitcoin Whitepaper (8 pages, IIRC) is a very good place to start.
