I am right there with you. August 8th was the fall of something far greater than what most people realize. Most were focused on the politics and influencer drama. However, it was also the hopeful continuation of the same principles that brought everyone into BTC originally but we are not going to survive if we don't fight for it.
I think most of us (not all) got complacent and the suits got smart. They didn't want us to have sound permissionless money, because they know that is too dangerous to let plebs have so they found a way to infect the network.
Crazy price increase! I don't know the last time you did an IBD on a new node, but it is getting worse everyday with all the garbage. Took me over a week, especially after 2021 there is so much nonsense. How are we going to run nodes on cell phones in 2035 at this rate? Iphones going to have 4TB NVME's in them? Doubt...
Thanks again. What a rush to finally get one with the compound. It felt pure. Not the best shot placement, however lethal. Ran about 100 yards from my stand and laid to rest by a creek. Now I'm itching for a buck. I'll have a (half) empty freezer from the Doe and a nice spot on the wall my wife says I can use for a mount 😄 now that the pressure is off I'll wait for the perfect opportunity. One day I'd like to come up and hunt your way, but I don't know if I'd use a bow for your creatures. They can actually do some hurt if you don't put em down haha.
