Like mobile phones, ventilators are a grotesquely monopolized sector, controlled by a single company #Medtronic, whose biggest claim to fame is effecting the world's largest #TaxInversion in order to manufacture the appearance that it is an Irish company and therefore largely untaxable. Medtronic used the resulting windfall to gobble up most of its competitors.
