nostr is cool as hell. I got a notification (via pulse, a nostr notification service in
https://relayk.it), that someone had sent me a message. I then opened
https://relayed.chat to see the message and reply. This all happened without a central party.
I've been using nostr for a while now, but still every week or so I have a wow moment just marvelling at it.
The extra cool part is of course that the services mentioned which I use are services I built and run myself. The participatory aspect of running nostr is a freedom you need to experience to value I think. As if you can't run it yourself, is it really open?
