I tried to get Opus 5 to "write like I do" by feeding it all of my public work. I wanted to give it audio file of my thoughts and have it write an article about it.

It was a disaster. My audio prompts were incomplete (compared to what I would actually write) and I was constantly editing to get it the way I wanted. In the end it was more almost certainly work than just writing it without AI help.

I think that the act of writing is how I find the words I want to use in an article, and that's just the way it is.

While these "detectors" have recently been promoted as a way to protect human writing online, that’s not what’s really happening.
