I always knew that my dad was doing it right by retiring to live stewarding land towards producing as much of his own food and wine as possible.
But, after growing up in that world, it really took me a long time to start appreciating it for myself.
Yesterday, while mowing my vineyard, I could think of no place I'd rather be.
