GM. School run was 8 minutes late obviously. My daughter gave ME the stare. She hates being late. Meanwhile I'm the one driving and somehow it's still my fault.
Right after dropping her off I left the car at the garage for the tire swap. Going all weather this year. Quick note for my USA friends: up here in Canada we legally have to swap to winter tires from December to March. Yes, the government checks. No, your all-seasons don't count. Your all-seasons are what we call "summer." You're welcome. If these all-weather tires survive a Montreal winter and my driving, they deserve a statue.
Anyway, since the car stayed there, I walked home in the rain. Right shoe squeaking every step like it was charging me rent by the meter. Two Montreal pigeons stopped and stared. That's when you know you've made it.
Soaked, carless, and this is officially my cardio for October.
