There is a lot to unpack, but the nicecrew instance is collecting a massive amount of data on its users that it should not be collecting. pistolero (nprofile…9683) called them out on it, the admin's response was to basically declare war. I am an EXTREMLY known entity to the feds, and despite that, I would not create an account on that instance if I had a burner laptop using TOR as my gateway, twelve proxies and an Iranian VPN. It could be incompetency, but if you were going to run a honey-pot instance, you'd do absolutely nothing different.
