How annoying people can be sometimes. So in armada the back arrow use to switch from the channel to the channel list. One person complains it's not like other apps where the back arrow closes the app. Please change it because I only use gesture nav & not 3 button & it affects both. So we had a group discussion which had us split between the back & forth being useful to half & the other half just want it to be like other apps.
Stupid argument that the average person you would be frustrated that the back arrow don't close the app you will just quit the app over that & go back to discord. A few of us said make a setting to switch that for those who want it one way can have it & the other the other way. That was acceptable by all... Update comes no switch to change the back arrow functionality & now it only closes the app.
What was the fucking point of the group discussion & us all accepting the idea of a switch toggle for both if your just gunna do what the fuck you want anyways & appease the stupider argument. You know what grinds my gears the fact that all these people think you the average person are this weak fragile indolent being who will just quit an app if everything isn't like every other app. These people don't understand the word adaptation people adapt it's human nature & you do it all the time or else we'd all still be on myspace.com
I don't understand where this superiority complex comes from i'm told by them & others i'm not the average normie. Yes I fucking am I am the normie who speaks up & voices my opinion i'm not above or below you. Technology & our usage of it seeking alternatives is average. They think average is you just use play store, & have no clue beyond it but magically you somehow found this alternative & got here.
Aside from class of financial seperation they seem to have created this intelligence seperation of classes as starting from the bottom "the average normie" which is you then theres the "not normie" which I supposedly fall into according to them, then theres the "developers" class which anyone actively using claude, gpt, or some other coding model ai & fixing other people's work for them fall into.
This shit needs to stop we're all average & this mentality I have to deal with is retarded why can't everything be done right in thought by the people & for the people. Also add the fucking switch we discussed I want to be able to quickly jump from my chat to my channels list, dm with person to inbox. That was useful to me. If I need to close my app I hit the home button like everyone else.
