Schrodinger's Shithole

For anyone keen to understand Australia this is best understood like Schrodinger's Shithole Country.

It tends to do everything it can to become a shithole politically and it’s really trying, but it’s starting from such a high capital base and it’s recently new at trying so it’s still beautiful, high trust clean and low crime (at least why I am).

It’s not always going to be that way, but when I emigrated it felt like the UK from the late 80s, now we’re getting closer to the later 90s still good but on a decline, but in all honesty one of the better places to have a family in the world.

There is hope that things change or not, who knows. Feels like part of the game now is seeing which countries compete for talent and making the switch at the right time…
