Ledger has fixed a vulnerability affecting certain signing processes in its Ethereum app.

According to Charles Guillemet, Ledger’s CTO, the flaw was discovered internally by Ledger Donjon using its AI-based vulnerability research tools, then fixed and deployed two weeks ago.

Users with up-to-date Ledger firmware and apps are protected.

Charles also denounced the “FUD” surrounding this issue, stating that a security firm publicly disclosed the vulnerability after the patch had been deployed, while implying that it had not yet been resolved.
