Peronism is the dominant political movement in Argentina, named after Juan Perón, associated with economic nationalism, redistribution, and a long history of currency crises and inflation. Argentina has defaulted on its debt multiple times. The peso has lost significant value against the dollar for decades.
Somebody in Argentina (or someone watching Argentina) used Bitcoin to tell their compatriots to get out.
