So many random liberal people I've talked to now associate #bitcoin with #Trump and think it's a bad thing somehow.

Instead of pointing out how stupid it is to think an entire technology is "bad" based on how one person uses it, I try to enlighten them politely.

One of my favorite ways to explain why BTC is so much more than just a way for Trump to make money is to point out how it has enabled women in oppressive countries to earn and safely store their own money without anyone's permission. In places where women can't even have a bank account, BTC changes lives.

Never forget that this is freedom tech, the casino is just one tiny use case among many.

This is why we fight to keep it permissionless and decentralized.
