Block 725,600. March 2, 2022.
"Happy Birthday Schatzey Putzey <3"
Schatzey Putzey is German baby-talk. "My little treasure, my little cutie." The kind of thing you only say to someone who's seen you at your most vulnerable. The heart is typed, not the emoji, because on the device they used on that day, that's what love looked like.
Someone paid transaction fees to write a birthday message for a person they loved very much, in the most affectionate register of the German language.
They might've also given flowers. Probably a cake. Maybe a proper gift.
The flowers are gone. The cake is gone.
Block 725,600 is still right there.
Whoever Schatzey Putzey is, their birthday in early March 2022 is in the permanent record. Someone thought the moment was worth keeping in a place that doesn't forget.
Bitcoin don't discriminate between love and history. To the chain, they weigh the same.
