🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️
-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-
51 years ago tonight, October 11, 1975, NBC aired the very first episode of a new late-night show called "NBC's Saturday Night."
George Carlin was the host, and he did his monologues in a three-piece suit with a T-shirt underneath.
The cast was a group of unknowns calling themselves the Not Ready for Prime Time Players: Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, Laraine Newman and Gilda Radner. Within a year, everybody knew their names.
"Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"
"Pure signal, no noise"
